Travel: Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant, Bangkok (Thailand)

Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant, Sukhumvit Soi 22, Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok

Travelling to Thailand is exciting especially for its cuisine. For Muslim travellers who are looking for a certified 'HALAL' cuisine, you may want to visit Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant whenever you are in Bangkok, Thailand.

Located at Sukhumvit Soi 22, Sukhumvit Road, Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant serves you most of the Thai cuisines from fried rice, spicy tom yam, kerabu mangga and many more.

I had the chance to try-out the food there during my bangkok city exploration with Zulaina in the area.

How To Get There
You best bet is to use the BTS SkyTrain service to E5 Phrom Phong station. Travel will cost you up to THB40, depends from which station you are taking. Upon arrival at Phrom Phong station, you will need to walk for 15 minutes at about 1KM distance.

Heard that there is a short cut thru a park towards the place though. But we preferred to use the Google map road instruction instead.

Just walk towards Imperial Queen's Park Hotel as a landmark. You cannot miss the large signboard of the hotel since it is a large building with litted signage at night.

Below some of visuals you should be seeing along the way.

Turn left into the small alley once you see a massage parlour at entrance block. You can see the restaurant signage  just before the shop area (refer the above image). You will reach the restaurant entrance in less than 50 metres.

Free Wifi

Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant have two levels of seating area. Didn't managed to see how the first floor looks like though. Each table can fit from 4 pax to 8 pax of people. Equipped with air-condition, customer can escape the Asian hot weather during the day. There is free wifi for customer use too.

Summary
This restaurant is worth a try when you are in Bangkok city. Good communication in Thai, malay and english. Pricing is cheap too.

Food taste is not the best for me, but still good for a Thai cuisine restaurant. But I recommend you to try the orange juice.

Most important is the service level and friendly hospitality provided by the restaurant.

Special thank you to Zulaina for bringing me to this restaurant!
