My Stay

This trip was to run in 2XU Compression Run 2014 Singapore which held at Republic Avenue, very close by to Nicoll Highway. The hostel was located less than 1KM away from the race venue.

Reached and checked-in at the hostel around 9pm after 4 - 5 hours journey from Kuala Lumpur. Check-in was fast by nice and friendly hostel employee. A refundable deposit of SGD$10 was required for key-card upon checking-in. Key-card works for the room and its main-door. Before leaving the counter, a clear hostel rules and available facilities were explained by the employee.
I was staying in a 16 bed mixed dorm. Making friends was not a problem since I am used with hostel / dorm ethics. Luckily for me, my dorm-mates were all running in the same race event.

Getting food and public transport from this hostel are very convenient. Tons of 'halal' restaurants and close to shopping area.
Important note: Check-in counter is located inside the a cafe. Keep an eye for the hostel signage outside the shop building. You can refer the below image.

Checked-out the next day noon with a picture taken by the hostel personnel. A collage of past guest photos were seen at the staircase area.
