Travel: The 35th Bangkok International Motor Show 2014 (Thailand)

A week before Thailand's Songkran festival, I managed to do a half-day photography session at Bangkok International Motorshow 2014. The session was exciting as I was able to gather with other photographer friends from Malaysia and Singapore called Demand-For-More (D4M).

Why Bangkok Motorshow?
Lot of nice cars exhibited, cheap daily entry ticket and beautiful model talents.

Travelling there
The Bangkok International Motorshow is annualy held at Impact Challenger estimated around 30 minutes away from Bangkok city centre. Traveling time could be more than expected due to bad heavy traffic. You could use the BTS SkyTrain to the last station Mo Chit and get a taxi from there towards Impact Challenger.

Please note that they may have taxi drivers that will not go there if it is during peak hours.

100 Bath Ticket
The daily entry ticket cost only THB100 (MYR10) which I find very cheap but with excellent automotive exhibitors. You may find various car and bike model there since Thailand is known-well for its automotive industry. Going in and out after entry on the same day is no problem too. The organisor will stamp your hand for re-entry.

What To Bring
Bring your DSLR and external flash unit with sufficient battery packs if you are a professional photographer. My Nikon D7000 battery unit died on me after my 700 shots.

Sharing with you some of the pictures taken with my Nikon D7000.

In Love with the Cars

In Love with the beautiful models

Summary: A must visit event in Bangkok, Thailand. I will definitely come back for more new cars line-up and the beautiful photogenic talents.

Event Recommendation: ★★★★★
