Hey Zengarmy,
This blog post was originally scheduled to be posted last night,
but holly molly I had a tough night of panic attack yesterday :'(
I literally lost my ability to think & write, for the whole night.
It all happened because I unfortunately lost ALL my blog photos
that I've taken and edited yesterday because my phone decided
to automatically DELETE all the photos when I transferred them to PC.
You might wonder : "What the hell Zeng Teck it's such a small thing!
There are lots of other important things in your life to be worried of!"
My response? You don't know how it feels until it happens to you.
Letting it go is simply easier said than done. It's a bitter pill to swallow.
When you spent so much effort editing the photos, these photos aren't
just your ordinary photos anymore. They are precious, like your baby.
( photography lovers can easily relate to how I feel, I guess. )
Okay, end of the story, back to the topic today.
I woke up today at 6 a.m. & suddenly feeling like doing this cover.
It probably sucks but hey, ain't nobody sounds good when they first woke up isn't it?
PS : Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and share it if you think it's not bad ;)
"What if the world acted
like it was one neighbourhood?"
2 weeks ago I watched a cover video by Daniela Andrade,
which, if you have been following me for quite a while,
you'll know that she's one of my absolute favorite YouTube cover artists!
And, obviously, the name of the song that she covered
is #bemorebarrio, hence the title of the blog post & cover today :)
Barrio (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbarjo]) is a Spanish word
meaning neighborhood. In several Latin American countries,
the term is also used officially to denote a division of a municipality.
You might think this is boring, but hang on first hahaha.
A neighbourhood (barrio) is more of an attitude than a place;
the space that represents local life in an increasingly global world.
Neighbourhoods all over the world share common elements that identify
them which go beyond geographical, linguistic and cultural differences:
the same type of cafés, launderettes, shops, bakeries, parties with friends at a flat,
relationships with our neighbours... and, of course, the same way of dressing.
We like this “neighbourhood” essence that combines the familiar and the cosmopolitan.
Neighbourhoods represent the best of us.
With that being said, 7 artists were invited to cover the song
#bemorebarrio in their own way and to do so in their neighbourhoods.
For the first time in history, a musical hit is being released simultaneously
along with 7 covers made for YouTube by popular international cover artists,
who together have more than 11 million subscribers on their channels
and 2.7 billion views for their videos.

I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MELODY & LYRICS OF THIS SONG!
It's that kind of song that has a lovely message, with catchy rhythms, optimism and happiness!
I have been listening to these covers every day for the past 2 weeks ;)
Share this blog post or these covers to spread the happiness & good music!
Till next time, Zengarmy.
