Running: Malaysia Breakfast Day Run 2015 (Putrajaya) #MBD2015

Finally I had the chance to update my running report after few months of travelling and work duties. Note that this run happen hours after my weekend gateway travel in the Philippines.

Just hours after safely landed in Kuala Lumpur from my Boracay weekend gateway, had to prep myself for a short 7KM run at Malaysia Breakfast Day Run 2015 held on 10 May 2015 at Putrajaya.

This was my second time running in this event with early bird registration fee at RM20 inclusive of running tee, BIB and finisher medal. Registration had open mid March 2015 thru 1xcess.com.

This year, the running tee had slight improvement for its design and material. The finisher medal design was different too. Saw these changes in the earlier #MBD2015 version at Ipoh, Perak.

Race Day
I regroup with my running partner, Shaz Nieza and friends 30 minutes prior to flag off time. Started the race at a slower pace this time since I was running with my beach-trip tan. Bumped onto tons of familiar faces along my slow 7KM run. Glad I brought along a GoPro to fit most runner friends in our photos.

Had fun running along the 7KM race route, meeting tons of friends and other runners. The event received a very positive response by Malaysian runners. No issue for its water stations, route markers and traffic management.

Completed the 7KM MBD 2015 with lady pacer Shaz Nieza and Arin Mansor at a decent completion time. Collected my finisher medal and a string bag with goodies at the finishing tent, 20 - 30 metres away from the finishing line.

Event Area
Event area was fitted with tons of photowalls, breakfast redemption tents and tables and chairs for participants usage. Redeemed myself a 'very basic' fried mee hoon with the breakfast coupons. Plenty of Milo tents for ice-cold Milo.

There were also plenty of things to do there from shooting hoops, football and others more. The volunteers around this MBD event were friendly too. Had the opportunity to take some photos with running clubs and friends like LYNRunners, Run89Crew, MY365Runners, celebrity runners and many more.

Comments
An excellent race kit with RM20 registration fee. New design for its running tee with an improved fabric quality. Fresh finisher medal design. A lively event area at Putrajaya.

Tons of event photographers and videographers. There were RFF, Victor and Elaine (CardPow.com) and more. Big thanks to all (official and non-official) photo team at the race event.
