Johor Bahru (also spelled Johor Baharu, Johor Baru, or Johore Bahru is the capital city of Johor in southern Malaysia, located north of Singapore. Johor Bahru is the southernmost state in Peninsular Malaysia.
Tourism is one of the most important factors for Johor Bahru's economic growth. As at today, Johor Bahru have been signified with Legoland Theme & Water Park, Sanrion Hello Kitty Theme Park, Johor Premium Outlet (JPO) and the Johor -Singapore Causeway.
Just wanted to share one of the popular food spot in Johor Bahru, that must try if you are there. The popular Gerai Kacang Pool Haji located at Medan Selera Larkin Bomba is one of the must try local cuisine very popular in Johor Bahru.
About Kacang Pool
Basically the dish are combination of minced meat and peanut similar like the one used for 'satay" with some vege herbs. Dish is best served during breakfast, but still suitable at any meal of the day. Here are some reviews from Foursquare check-in's.
Price at RM5 (as at March 2014), you will get a bowl of kacang pool with egg, plus a thick toast bread.

Summary: A good place for a quick meal. Worth the visit for people from outside of Johor. I would always visit at least once everytime I'm in Johor Bahru.
